Room highly comfortable, good for a family stay. Midges are part of the experience!
Room very basic, lacks a TV unless you've got 4G for a fire stick. Breakfast failed to impress, with dry scrambled eggs like rubber and solid butter making toast unspreadable. Limited stay options, just one night feels too short for such a place.

Make sure you stay in the king room with excellent modern ensuite shower. The staff is helpful and attentive as well as hotel's host.

Packed with surprises, Good and Bad
The on-site Tearoom served delicious soups, scones, and cakes! Hosts offered engaging stories. A relatively remote haven for nature lovers, with easy access to walking trails and the nearby RSPB Nature Reserve.
If you're used to modern amenities like a TV or consistent WiFi, this might not meet your expectations. The peaceful isolation may feel a bit daunting for some travelers seeking constant entertainment.

Consider me officially shocked
The location blew me away! Spotting 15 deer in the adjacent field was surreal. My room was spacious and comfortable, topped off with a modern ensuite. Breakfast was a feast, with fresh coffee and juice galore. This place is a hidden gem for all nature lovers seeking tranquility. A lovely stay!

The location was fine, surrounded by nature and well-maintained walking trails for easy exploration. The breakfast spread was good, with homemade jellies and wholesome options. The cozy lounge area was perfect for relaxing after a day of adventures.
While the experience was overall fantastic, the bathroom ventilation could be a bit noisy at night.

Perfect for nature lovers
Arrived late and the owners made me coffee and cake to brighten my day , very kind of them. The room was so comfortable , like being at home but in the wild.
Not the cheapest place out there , but worth every penny.
